- 2 cups shredded Havarti cheese
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp minced red onion
- salt and pepper to taste

Grate the cheese. Shred your block of Havarti using the largest size shred of the box grater. A 7- ounce block will net approximately 2 cups of shredded cheese.

In a medium bowl, stir together 2 cups Havarti cheese,1/2 cup mayonnaise and 1/2 cup sour cream. Add 2 tablespoons red onion to the cheese mixture and gently stir with a spoon or rubber spatula to blend. Add some salt and black pepper to your taste.

Cover the bowl with a piece of plastic wrap or a tight fitting lid and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors blend. Transfer the cheese mixture to a serving bowl. This creamy dip is best served cold or at room temperature.
